The ninth (9th) edition of the Itinéraires Artistiques de Saint-Louis is scheduled from 6 May to 10 June 2023 at the Centre de Recherches et de Documentation du Sénégal (Ex-IFAN de Saint-Louis)

The Association Ndar Création is organising the ninth edition of the Itinéraires Artistiques de Saint-Louis from 6 May to 10 June 2023 at the Centre de Recherches et de Documentation du Sénégal (Ex-IFAN de Saint-Louis). This edition will cover painting, photography, sculpture, mosaic, design and digital art.

Inscribed in the national cultural calendar of Senegal, this edition has confirmed, following deliberation by the jury under Monsieur Omar DIACK, Director of Typics Arts Gallery and Exhibition Commissioner, the effective participation of thirty-three (33) artists, seventy-two (72) works, and three (03) Invited Mentors. A tribute will also be paid to Alphosseyni SEYDI. The list of regions of origin and selected artists is as follows:

Initiated by the Ndar Création association led by visual artist Abdoukarim FALL, the vernissage of the visual arts exhibition is scheduled for Saturday 6 May 2023 at 18:00 at the CRDS in Saint-Louis.

Additionally, four (04) training workshops in visual arts — drawing, painting, mosaic, sculpture — and environmental awareness sessions will take place on 13 and 14 May 2023 and 20 and 21 May 2023, along with workshops and artist performances scheduled for 29 and 30 June 2023.

A panel on “The collective management of visual artworks: challenges and perspectives” will be led by Mr. Samba NDIAYE, Regional Delegate of SODAV in Kaolack, in charge of the Visual Arts committee. A mural painting will also take place.
