From 3 May to 3 June 2025, the Centre de Recherches et de Documentation du Sénégal (CRDS), formerly IFAN de Saint-Louis, will host the 11th edition of the Itinéraires Artistiques de Saint-Louis. Organised by the Association Ndar Création under the direction of visual artist Abdoukarim Fall, this event inscribed on the Senegalese cultural calendar will bring together talents from diverse horizons.
This new edition will offer a wide range of artistic disciplines: painting, photography, sculpture, mosaic, design and digital art. As a platform for exchange and the promotion of contemporary creation, the exhibition is open to emerging and established artists from Senegal and beyond, fostering a rich interaction between creators and audiences.
This year, the Republic of The Gambia is the guest country of honour, symbolising an advance in cultural relations between Senegal and its neighbour. The participation of Gambian artists will bring a new dimension to the exhibition and enrich the artistic dialogue between the two sister nations.
Following an open call for applications, 40 artists have been selected to present 76 exceptional works.
The diversity of their origins reflects the international scale of the event. Among them, four renowned mentors — Anta Germaine Gaye, Serigne Ndiaye, Tita Mbaye and Adama Sylla — will accompany the participants and exhibit their own works.
