The 9th edition of the Itinéraires Artistiques de Saint-Louis exhibition opened last night at its traditional vernissage. The Centre de Recherches et de Documentation du Sénégal (CRDS) is hosting 72 contemporary works by 33 artists, some of whom have come from abroad. This year, renowned artists join young talents, all inspired by the spirit of emulation that makes this event a landmark on the city cultural calendar.
The exhibition addresses a wide range of themes, immersing visitors in the many facets of African and Senegalese tradition. Major names in the art world confirmed their participation this year, reinforcing the international reach of the event.
