Press Release: 10th edition of the Itinéraires Artistiques de Saint-Louis, May to June 2024

The tenth (10th) edition of the Itinéraires Artistiques de Saint-Louis is scheduled from 4 May to 10 June 2024 at the Centre de Recherches et de Documentation du Sénégal (Ex-IFAN de Saint-Louis, Senegal).

The Association Ndar Création, under the leadership of its President, visual artist Abdoukarim Fall, is organising the tenth edition of the Itinéraires Artistiques de Saint-Louis from 4 May to 10 June 2024 at the Centre de Recherches et de Documentation du Sénégal (Ex-IFAN de Saint-Louis). This edition will cover painting, photography, sculpture, mosaic, design and digital art.

Inscribed in the national cultural agenda of Senegal, this edition, following deliberation by the jury under Monsieur Omar DIACK, Director of Typics Arts Gallery and Exhibition Commissioner, has confirmed the effective participation of forty-five (45) artists, eighty-two (82) works, and four (04) Invited Mentors. The list of regions and countries of origin and selected artists is as follows:

The vernissage of the visual arts exhibition is scheduled for Saturday 4 May 2024 at 18:00 at the CRDS in Saint-Louis.

NB:

Four (04) training workshops in visual arts — drawing, painting, mosaic, sculpture — and environmental awareness sessions will take place on 11 and 12 May 2024 and 25 and 26 May 2024. Workshops and artist performances are scheduled for 18 and 19 May 2024.

The exhibition-restitution of the workshops will take place from 15 June to 30 June 2024.
