8th edition of the Itinéraires Artistiques: beautiful reflections of art shine over Saint-Louis – video

The curtain has risen on the 8th edition of the Itinéraires Artistiques de Saint-Louis. This event, inscribed in the national cultural calendar, recorded a record level of participation this year. Thirty-five (35) artists from Senegal, The Gambia, Mauritania and Nigeria exhibited their works at the gallery of the Centre de Recherches et de Documentation du Sénégal (CRDS) in Saint-Louis until 10 June 2022. They were selected by a jury following an open call for applications. In addition to the exhibition, which opened with a vibrant vernissage, an art workshop on various ecology-related themes was organised for schoolchildren and students. It was preceded by a performance bringing together the invited artists. Abdou Karim FALL, the founder of this artistic emulation platform, praised the contribution of the partners with a special mention for the Fondation Cuomo.
